Thrive in Relationships

People are EVERYWHERE! I mean there are billions of us on Earth! Given that there are so many of us on this planet, avoiding human interaction can be nearly impossible. Whether at our favorite grocery stores, at church, on the physical streets, or on these social media streets, it's inevitable that we're going to encounter other people.

With that extremely obvious fact out of the way, I'm going to state yet another one: relationships are also hard to avoid. Relationships are defined by how we connect and engage with people. Whether they are formal, informal, intimate, surface level, or the like, we have relation- ships with the people in our lives.

It's important to note that God cares deeply about how we connect with one another. It wasn't good for Adam to be alone, so God created Eve. Jesus commanded us to love one another as ourselves. These are just two examples, but the Bible is filled with many more that show how God truly cares about relationships.

Let's hold onto this truth as we continue our journey of thriving. While we can’t control another person's actions, thriving in our relationships looks like focusing on our part. Take the principles we discuss over the next four days and implement them towards others. When we do, we help create a world that looks a lot more like God!
