Statement of Faith
The following are the core beliefs of Full Armour Christian Center based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
The Bible
Bible is our sole authority.
2 Timothy 3:15 “The whole Bible was given to us by inspiration from God and is useful to teach us what is true and make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and helps us to do what is right.”
At Full Armour church, we have done our very best to make sure that the Bible is our final authority. Whenever there is a question about what to do, we know where to go to find the answer, The Bible, The word of God. It can be trusted as an authority in our lives.
We need to become students of The Bible, God’s word! It’s not about my opinion or your opinion, it’s about God’s opinion. He’s the final WORD! If we’re going to become “like Him”, shouldn’t we invest and make time for the Word of God?

The Trinity
We believe there is only one true and living God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe this is proven in the scriptures at Jesus’ Baptism in unity.
Mark 1:9-11 “And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him: And there came a voice from heaven, saying “Thou are my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
Mark 1:9-11 “And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. Baptism of the Holy Spirit
We believe the baptism of the Holy Spirit is given to believers who ask for it. We believe by the ministry of the Holy Spirit the believer is enabled to live a godly life.
Matthew 3:11 “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.”
Acts 2:4 “And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”
Acts 1:8 “But you shall receive power, after the Holy Ghost comes on you: and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

Water Baptism
We believe in water baptism for the Christian should be observed as an outward sign of an inward work, dying to our flesh and being resurrected in the likeness of Christ.
The picture of baptism is being buried underwater just as Christ was buried in the tomb and raised into a new way of life. Baptism is simply a picture of what’s happened on the inside.
Romans 6:4 “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”
Mark 1:4-5 “John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. And there went out unto him all the land of Judea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.”
Jesus was our example for water baptism.

Spirit Led Living
John 15:5 “Jesus said, `I am the vine, you are the branches. If you abide in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit. But apart from Me, you can do nothing.'”
This is something we believe deeply. He is the source of our life not just for salvation but for every day. Every day, when you get up, if you do not reconnect yourself, not in terms of salvation, but in terms of dependence, “God, I depend on You today to get me through this day”, you’ll miss out. You’re trying to live your life on your own strength and that leads only to frustration and exhaustion. God has intended that we be plugged into Him. He is our power source in life. If we don’t live our life with God truly leading, we become bad examples for the Kingdom of God. How can we be “led” by the spirit if we don’t “seek” after the spirit? It’s up to you how close you get to God. It’s up to you how much you change yourself into the image of God. That is your choice.

Jesus Christ is the Chief Cornerstone of the Church
We believe Jesus Christ is the supreme head and chief cornerstone of the living stones, the Church. When we build our foundation on Jesus Christ as the Chief Cornerstone, our foundation will not crumble. He is steadfast and unmovable. We believe He is the rock that we lean on.
Ephesians 2:19-22 “Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.”
Your decision….lean on Him….or lean on your friends, family, etc. Where do you lean? He’s a rock, a cornerstone, who has more endurance?

Fruits of the Spirit
We believe the Fruits of the Spirit should be in operation in our life as Christians. We believe they show Christian Character and we should strive to have them operating in our lives from day to day. We believe if we profess to be Christ-like, our daily walk should become more and more like Jesus. Fruits of the Spirit develop your personal character & walk.
Galatians 5:22-25 “the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith. Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law, and they that are in Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.”
Are the fruits evident in your life?
I encourage you to make a decision that you are a representation of the Body of Christ…these fruits will make a difference in you and through you. Will you develop these fruits in your life?

Gifts of the Spirit
We believe the gifts of the Spirit are tools for the Christian to work with. We believe a Christian should desire the gifts in their life…making them warriors for the kingdom of God. The gifts of the spirit are developed to impart to others. The Gifts of the Spirit are for you to work with. They are given for the edifying of the body of Christ.
1 Corinthians 12:7-11, 13-14 “But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal, the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these works that one and the selfsame spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will, …For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.” For the body is not one member, but many.”

Church is the Bride of Jesus Christ
We believe the Church is the fellowship of saints of people of God. The Church is a mystery, the bride of Jesus Christ, saved and sanctified by Jesus Christ. Christ died for the church. We believe the church is very important that is why so many times in the scriptures the church was compared to a wedding. The church was chosen to be holy, the bride of Christ.
1 Peter 2:9-10 “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.”
Ephesians 5:25-32 “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loves his wife loves himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
